'ISRAEL EXPERIENCE'

2008

This is the fourth year that JNF Education is carrying out the 'Israel Experience" programme for Year 6 students in several primary schools.

The "Israel Experienc" is a fantastic partnership between JNF Education and Jewish schools.  In this programme, Year 6 students are inspired with an extra passion towards Israel through various formal and informal activities incorporating geographic, demographic, religious, and historic aspects which link up to all areas of the National Curriculum.  The programme takes place over a 3-day period, indoors as well as outdoors.  The students explore Israel by having a virtual hands-on tour, enjoying scouting activities, field cooking and taking part in sports competitions.

This year the first school to run the programme was Wolfson Hillel on the 2oth, 21st, 22nd May 2008.  See the pictures below.

This year our "Israel Experience" team of facilitators will be visiting another 4 schools in London and 1 school in Manchester, during June and July.
